1. About Our Services

My Clinical Compass provides educational resources, nursing examination preparation, certification review, clinical reference materials, career exploration tools, and AI-assisted learning features.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use account-based services.

2. Educational Use Only

Our materials are provided for education, examination preparation, and professional development. They are not medical advice, patient-specific treatment recommendations, or a substitute for professional clinical judgment, current evidence, institutional policies, or applicable standards of care.

Users are responsible for verifying information before applying it in clinical practice.

3. Examinations and Professional Credentials

My Clinical Compass is an independent educational service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by examination boards, certification organizations, nursing schools, or licensing authorities.

We do not guarantee examination passage, certification, licensure, employment, promotion, or any particular career outcome. Practice scores and readiness estimates are educational indicators, not official examination predictions.

4. The Guide and AI-Assisted Content

The Guide and other AI-assisted features may generate explanations, questions, recommendations, and learning materials. AI-generated information can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for a particular situation.

Users must independently evaluate AI-generated information. Do not use The Guide for clinical decisions involving actual patients or for emergencies.

Do not enter identifiable patient information, protected health information, medical records, passwords, financial account information, or other confidential information into AI features or feedback forms.

Information entered into AI features may be processed by Base44 and third-party AI providers as explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Accounts and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity conducted through it.

You may use our educational resources for your own lawful personal learning and professional development.

You may not:

Share, sell, or transfer account access without authorization.
Copy, reproduce, redistribute, publish, scrape, or commercially exploit our question banks, explanations, QuickSheets, or other protected materials without permission.
Circumvent access restrictions or interfere with website security.
Upload confidential patient information or content that violates another person's rights.
Use automated tools to extract substantial portions of our educational resources.
Misrepresent your identity or use the service unlawfully.

We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security concerns, or unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Original text, graphics, educational materials, question banks, designs, branding, and other protectable materials owned by My Clinical Compass LLC are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Some materials may include licensed third-party content, factual information, or AI-assisted elements. Ownership and protection apply only to the extent permitted by law and applicable licenses.

Names and trademarks belonging to certification bodies, examination organizations, publishers, and other third parties remain their respective owners' property.

Users retain whatever rights they have in original material they submit. By voluntarily submitting feedback, users grant My Clinical Compass permission to use that feedback to operate and improve its services, without publicly identifying the user unless separately authorized.

To report suspected copyright infringement, contact legal@myclinicalcompass.com with the material's location and sufficient information to evaluate the concern.

7. Free Beta Services

My Clinical Compass is currently operating in free beta. Features and educational materials may be incomplete, modified, interrupted, or discontinued.

No payment is required for current beta access. Beta participation does not automatically enroll users in a paid subscription.

Future paid plans will require an affirmative purchase decision and disclosure of applicable pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before payment.

8. Availability and Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and useful educational resources, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, error-free content, or continuous availability.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Responsibility and Disputes

Users agree to use the website responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.

These Terms are intended to be governed by Ohio law, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any specific dispute-resolution procedure, liability limitation, or indemnification provision must be separately reviewed before adoption.

We may update these Terms as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated appropriately, and renewed acceptance will be requested where required.
