Why My Clinical Compass Was Created
My Clinical Compass was born from a simple idea: healthcare professionals deserve more than another question bank—they deserve a trusted guide.
Throughout every nursing career there are new challenges, certifications, technologies, leadership opportunities, and lifelong learning. Too often education emphasizes memorization instead of understanding.
My Clinical Compass was built on a different philosophy.
When nurses truly understand the "why" behind patient care, they become stronger critical thinkers, more confident clinicians, and better advocates for their patients.

Our mission is to make healthcare education more accessible, understandable, and meaningful. Founder, My Clinical Compass
Bethany Brown is a registered nurse with more than a decade of experience in acute care, nursing leadership, quality improvement, and nursing staff development. Her career has included inpatient bedside nursing, clinical coaching, precepting, charge nurse roles, and nursing management, with experience caring for complex medical-surgical, cardiac, neurological, and high-acuity patients.
From the bedside to nursing leadership, Bethany's career has remained rooted in teaching, mentorship, and improving the way nurses care for patients. She has led nursing education, orientation, quality improvement, patient safety, and staff development initiatives, while continuing to carve her own path in nursing education.
She created My Clinical Compass to bring together practical nursing education, clinical reasoning, test preparation, and career development in a kind and straightforward way that helps healthcare professionals understand not only what they need to know, but why it matters.
