My Clinical Compass is an educational platform. Users must not submit patient-identifiable or confidential patient information into The Guide, Community, study tools, or any other My Clinical Compass feature.
This includes:
- Patient names
- Medical record numbers
- Dates of birth
- Patient photographs
- Addresses
- Any other information that could identify a patient
Why
My Clinical Compass is not a system of record for patient care, and information entered here is not protected as clinical patient data would be in a healthcare setting.
Compliance Note
My Clinical Compass is not represented as HIPAA-compliant merely because users are instructed not to enter patient information. HIPAA and related compliance will be addressed separately if and as applicable.
