Katie Pfeffer, LMFT
Katie is an EMDR and Narrative trained therapist in private practice in Los Angeles who approaches working with her clients from a holistic model, incorporating all aspects of an individual’s life and well-being with the aim of helping her clients create a stronger sense of self and purpose. Katie has worked for 7 years within the mental health treatment system at all levels of care; and her experiences have given her extensive training in working with individuals and families, who are primarily going through life crises and transitions, severe emotional and behavioral challenges, grief and loss, substance use and trauma.
Chaundra and Katie met in graduate school at California State University Fullerton, and found that they were both drawn to counseling because they shared a passion for helping families navigate the joys and challenges of childhood and adolescences. They believe that the greatest reward as a therapist is helping clients grow through discovering ways to make changes in their lives that allow for a hopeful future.
